Accredited Members in a range of Building Specialties
The ASBC is the only registered independent professional Building Consultancy organisation representing Building Consultants.
Each Member holds Accreditation in particular areas of expertise. These include General Building & Inspection Services, Legal & Dispute Resolution, Professional Design & Consultancy, Specialised Trade-Based Inspections.
Membership is not automatic. All applicants are considered by the Executive Committee and must meet a strict criteria list including operating for a minimum period, demonstrated experience and expertise, referees, tertiary qualifications (where applicable) and appropriate insurances and licenses. Accreditation is reviewed annually by the Executive Committee.

Member Monitoring
A Member that acts outside their area of expertise may face a disciplinary hearing before the Executive Committee and risks either having their ASBC Accreditation withdrawn or the Membership of the Society suspended or terminated.
