I am working in the building industry for the last 22 years. I am a director of Building Consultancy Group NSW.

I am proficient in inspecting buildings, identifying defects, investigating the defects to understand the causes and litigation services, writing reports in accordance with NCC, Home Building Act and Australian standards. I am well experienced in project management for all kinds of buildings including houses, low-rise and high-rise buildings, residential and commercial buildings, etc.

He has built 54 houses, 4 townhouse developments, and performed hundreds of quality control inspections. He conducted safety and security risk assessments in the Royal New Zealand Navy, the New Zealand Army, and on constructions sites in Sydney. He has qualifications in science, process engineering, construction and workplace health and safety.

Project Intervene is an independent building consultancy providing expert advice on building compliance, defect investigations, regulatory approvals, construction disputes and project management throughout New South Wales.

Director, Ebraam Ghaly, is a Former Senior Building Compliance Officer with Building Commission NSW, bringing extensive government regulatory experience to every project. Having assessed, audited and investigated a broad range of residential and commercial developments, he provides clients with practical, technically sound advice based on a thorough understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and the Building Code of Australia.

With more than 25 years of experience across civil engineering, building surveying, construction management and government regulation, Ebraam has worked on projects ranging from single dwellings through to multi-storey residential, commercial and Class 2 apartment developments. His experience includes building compliance audits, defect investigations, construction progress inspections, expert witness reporting, dilapidation reports, insurance assessments, swimming pool barrier compliance, project management and dispute resolution.

Having worked on both the regulatory and private consultancy sides of the industry, Ebraam offers clients a unique perspective on how compliance issues are assessed by regulators and certifiers. His reports are evidence-based, impartial and prepared with the level of technical detail expected by property owners, strata managers, solicitors, insurers, developers and tribunals.
