Sub-Committees

Australian Society of Building Consultants (NSW)

On Tuesday 21st November 2017, the Australian Society of Building Consultants Executive Committee voted to establish the first Sub-Committee of the Society. This Sub-Committee represents and comprises ASBC members in the Hunter Valley region of NSW.

Since that time the Strata Inspection Panel Sub-Committee has also been established.

Sub-Committees such as these will be formed to enable expansion of the Society across Australia. If a current member wishes to establish a Sub-Committee of the ASBC please contact the Executive Committee to express interest.

STRATA INSPECTOR PANEL (SIP)

The Australian Society of Building Consultants is an approved Strata Inspector Panel provider under the Strata Inspection Building Bond Scheme.

On the 10th November 2017 the ASBC expressed an interest to NSW Fair Trading Department of Finance, Services & Innovation to be a Strata Inspector Panel (SIP) provider. In 2020 the ASBC was listed as an authorised professional association under the Scheme and on the 21st August held the first ASBC Strata Inspector Panel SIP subcommittee meeting.
